Cancellation Policy

1. Standard Cancellation

Customers have the right to cancel their order for copiers purchased from Copier1, LLC. The following conditions and fees apply:

  • Cancellation Timeframe: Cancellation requests must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date.

  • Cancellation Fee: A restocking fee of 20% applies to all canceled orders.

  • Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, including insurance.

  • Condition of Returned Equipment: The copier must be returned in the same condition as received, and all accessories must be included unless otherwise approved by Copier1 Management.

  • Service Charges: Any services provided are to be borne by the customer.

2. Non-Operational Copiers

If the copier is not functioning according to the manufacturer's specifications, customers may return the copier for exchange under the following conditions:

  • Return Timeframe: Cancellation requests must be made within 6 months from the invoice date.

  • Return Authorization: No returns will be accepted without an approved RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.

  • Customer's Responsibility: Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including insurance.

  • Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 20% applies to all returns.

3. Refusal of Delivery

In cases where the customer refuses delivery of the copier, the following conditions apply:

  • Liability: The customer is liable for all charges invoiced, including any re-delivery or other fees related to the movement of the product resulting from the customer's refusal of delivery.

4. Default of Payment or Breach of Contract

In situations where a customer defaults on a purchase and refuses to pay Copier1 for goods and services provided, and discounts were applied, the following conditions apply:

  • Forfeiture of Discounts: The customer shall forfeit the benefit of any discounts applied, and collections will be pursued based on the undiscounted price of the equipment.

  • Collection Fees: Collection fees and interest of 6% per year (.5% monthly) will be charged in addition to any open balance on all collection accounts.

5. Lease Agreements

For copiers leased through Copier1, customers must sign off and accept installation for funding to be released to Copier1. If the customer refuses confirmation to the leasing company, they agree to pay the balance in full immediately.

6. Outside Contractors

When Copier1 uses outside contractors, the same terms and conditions apply to the treatment of these contractors as to Copier1 staff.

7. Special Provisions for Export Sales

Sales shipped outside of the continental United States are considered "AS-IS" and have NO WARRANTY. Customers are responsible for indemnifying Copier1 for any damages arising from the use of such equipment.

8. Maintenance Agreements

Maintenance agreements are separate contracts and may provide additional ongoing parts, labor, and supplies coverage.
