Terms of service

These Terms govern your use of Copier1.com and the purchase of equipment and supplies from Copier1, LLC.

The governing document is the Warranty & Purchase Agreement, read together with your sales invoice. Where this summary and that agreement differ, the agreement governs. Where the agreement and your invoice differ, the invoice governs for that order.

Purchase. Placing an order creates a binding purchase agreement on the terms of the Warranty & Purchase Agreement. Orders are paid in full before shipment unless otherwise approved in writing on the invoice. Equipment specification is as described on the invoice. See Billing Terms.

Warranty. Certified pre-owned office machines carry 30 days of parts and labor, 5 years of major component parts coverage and 3 years of whole-machine replacement, all from the delivery date, with coverage varying by machine class. Drum coverage, exclusions and the full terms are in the agreement.

Use of the equipment. Use the equipment as intended and keep up routine maintenance. Providing proper electrical service is your responsibility, and damage caused by improper power supply is not covered by the warranty.

Site content. Product photographs may not be an exact representation of the machine shipped; the model number, specification and published meter reading govern. We correct errors in pricing or specification when we find them, and we may cancel an order placed against an obvious error, with a full refund.

Content on this site belongs to Copier1, LLC or its licensors. Manufacturer names and model numbers are the trademarks of their owners and are used to identify the equipment we sell.

Changes. We may update these Terms. A change applies to orders placed after it takes effect; the version governing your purchase is the one in effect on your invoice date.

Governing law. Maryland law. Any action is brought in Montgomery County, Maryland, and the prevailing party recovers its reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.
